Forecast IELTS Speaking Part 1 quý 3/2023 (09/2023 – 12/2023)
Trong quý này, đề IELTS Speaking sẽ bao gồm các nhóm topic chính như:
- Nhóm các topic quen thuộc: Work & Study, Accomodation,…
- Nhóm các topic đã xuất hiện trong quý 2: bao gồm các topic Helping others, Wild animals, Health, Fixing things, Ice cream, Dream, Concentration, Teacher, Bags.

- Nhóm các topic mới:
Topic 1: Finding and losing things
- What kinds of lost things have you found in a public place?
- What would you do if you found something valuable, for example a phone? (Why/Why not?)
- Have you ever lost something which was found by a stranger? (What was it/Why?)
- Would you ever ask for help on social media to find something you’d lost? (Why/Why not?)
Topic 2: Mirrors
- How often do you look at yourself in a mirror? (Why/Why not?)
- Have you ever bought a mirror? (Why/Why not?)
- Would you buy clothes without checking yourself in a mirror first? (Why/Why not?)
4. Do you think mirrors are a good way to decorate a room? (Why/Why not?)

- Do you think people will use email more or less in the future? (Why/Why not?)
Topic 5: Websites
- What kinds of websites do you use most often? (Why/Why not?)
- Do you prefer to get information from websites or books? (Why/Why not?)
- Does your favorite website look the same now as when you first used it? (Why/Why not?)
4. Which is more important to you, what a website looks like or how easy it is to use?( Why?)
Topic 6: History
- Do you like to learn about history?
- What historical event do you find interesting?
- Do you think history is important?
4. Do you consider archaeology to be an important science?
Topic 7: Cars
- Did you enjoy traveling by car when you were a child? (Why/Why not?)
- Would you generally prefer to be a driver or a passenger in a car? (Why/Why not?)
3. How important is the color of a car to you? (Why/Why not?) - What type of car would you most like to have in the future? (Why/Why not?)
Topic 8: Memory
- Why do some people have good memories while others just don’t?
2. Why do more people rely on cell phones to memorize things? - Are you good at memorizing things?
- Have you ever forgotten something that was important?

Topic 17: Geography
- How do you feel about geography?
- Do you think learning geographic knowledge is useful for you?

Topic 18: Tea or Coffee
- What do you prefer, tea or coffee?
- What do you usually prepare for your guests, tea or coffee?
- When was the last time you drank coffee or tea?
- Do people like tea and coffee nowadays?
- Do you usually buy coffee in a coffee shop?
Topic 19: Musical instruments
- Which musical instrument do you like listening to most? Why?
- Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument?
- Do you think children should learn to play an instrument at school?
- How easy would it be to learn to play an instrument without a teacher?
- Do you think music education is important to children?
Topic 20: Map
- Do you often use maps?
- What is the difference between mobile maps and paper maps?
- Who taught you how to use maps?
- Do you have maps at home?
- How often do you use maps on your phone?
Forecast IELTS Speaking Part 2 & 3 quý 3 (09/2023-12/2023)
Đối với Speaking Part 2 & 3, các bạn nên chú ý rằng một số chủ đề xuất hiện trong quý 2 vẫn có khả năng xuất hiện tiếp trong quý 3. Ngoài ra, bộ Forecast quý 3 này cũng bao gồm một số Topic mới như:
Topic 1: Interesting story/novel
Describe a story or novel you have read that you found interesting
You should say:
When you read it
What the story or novel was about
Who wrote it
And explain why you read it
Part 3:
- Do young children like the same stories as older children?
- How has technology changed storytelling?
Topic 2: A person you follow regularly on social media or other media
Describe a person you follow regularly on social media or other media
You should say:
Who he/she is
How you knew him/her
What he/she posts on social media
And explain why you follow him/her on social media
Part 3:
- What can people do on social media?
- Do you think older people and younger people will use the same kind of social media software?
- Do older people spend much time on social media?
- Are non-social media like television and newspapers still useful?
Topic 3: A person you know who does a job which is useful to society
Describe a person you know who does a job which is useful to society
You should say:
Who this person is
How you knew him/her
What type of work he/she does
And explain why you think his/her work is useful to the society
Part 3
- What jobs are well-paid?
- What are the changes in working conditions?
- What are the impacts of the epidemic on the work environment?
Topic 4: A difficult decision you made that had a very good result
Describe a difficult decision you made that led to a very good result
You should say:
What decision it was
What difficulties you faced how you made the decision
And explain why it was a difficult decision.
Part 3:
- What decisions do people usually make in their daily lives?
- Which is easier? Making a decision by yourself or making a decision after group discussion?
- Why are many young people unwilling to follow their parent’s advice?
Topic 5: A traditional product made in your country which you like
Describe a traditional product made in your country which you like
You should say:
- What the product is
- When did you try this product for the first time
- What it is made of
- And explain how you feel about it
Part 3:
- Why do traditional products attract tourists?
- What different types of traditional products are produced in your country?
- Why do people like to buy imported products?
Topic 6: When you lost something
Describe an occasion when you lost something in a public place
You should say:
What you lost
How you lost it
Where you lost it
And explain how you felt about it.
Part 3:
- What kinds of things do people usually lose?
- What do people often do when losing things?
- Is it an effective way to use rewards to find lost things?
- What kinds of people may lose things often?
Topic 7: Something that surprised you and made you happy
Describe something that surprised you and made you happy.
You should say:
When it was
Who/ what surprised you
Where you were then
And explain why this surprise made you happy.
Part 3:
- How do people express happiness in your culture?
- Do you think happiness has any effect on people? How?
- How can people be happy?
- Is it good for people to be unhappy? Why?
Topic 8: Traffic jam
Describe a situation when you had to spend a long time in traffic jam
You should say:
When it was
Where you were going
How long you had to wait
And explain how you felt about this
Part 3:
- Which vehicles are more likely to be in a traffic jam, cars or buses?
- If you were in a traffic jam, would you prefer to be in a car or a bus?
- What do you think of people who always drive their car, even when they could just as easily use public transportation?
- Do you feel that traffic congestion in your hometown is better, or worse than it used to be?
- Do you think only the government has the power to manage the problem of traffic jams?
Topic 9: A rule (in school or work) that you don’t like
Describe a rule (in school or work) that you don’t like
You should say:
What it is
Why you don’t like it
How others feel about the rule
And explain whether you’ve followed the rule
Part 3:
- What are the rules students should follow at school?
- Are the rules at school good or bad?
- Do people often violate the rules in VietNam?
- What rules should children follow at home?
Topic 10: An apartment or a house that you would like to live in near future
Describe an apartment or a house that you would like to live in near future
You should say:
What it would look like
How big it would be
Where it would be located
And explain how feel about this apartment or house
Part 3:
- What kinds of apartments are most popular?
- What are the differences between houses that young people and old people like?
- What are the differences between apartments and houses?
Topic 11: A long walk you ever had
Describe a long walk you ever had
You should say:
When this happened
Where you walked
Who you were with
And explain how you felt about this long walk
Part 3:
- What outdoor activities do people like?
- What are the differences between the outdoor activities children did in the past and now?
- Is leisure time important to everyone? Why?
- Do women have more leisure time than men?
Topic 12: A special cake you received from others
Describe a special cake you received from others
You should say:
When it happened
Where it happened
Who you got the cake from
And explain why it’s a special cake
Part 3:
- What are the differences between the special food in Vietnam and foreign countries?
- Do people usually cook special food in Vietnam?
- Should special food be easily available?
Topic 13: A item of clothing that someone gave you
Describe an item of clothing that someone gave you
You should say:
What the clothing was
Who gave it to you?
When you got it
And explain why this person gave you the clothing
Part 3:
- Have you ever given clothes to others?
- Why do people dress casually everyday but dress formally at work?
- Why do people from different countries wear different clothing?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of wearing uniforms at work and school?
Topic 14: A situation when something in your house was broken and then repaired
Describe a situation when something in your house was broken and then repaired

What it was
When it broke/stopped working
How you repaired it
And explain how you felt about it

- What are the common home appliances that people use these days?
- Do you think modern technology makes people lazier?
- What can people do to protect their equipment from technical problems?
- When an electronic item of yours does not work, would you repair it or buy a new one?
- Are you good at handling problems on your own?
- Are IT-related jobs valued more by society?
Topic 15: An ambition that you haven’t achieved
Describe an ambition that you haven’t achieved
You should say:
What it is
Why you haven’t achieved it What you did
And explain how you felt about it

- What ambitions do children usually have?
- Why are some people very ambitious in their work?
- Why don’t some people have dreams?
- How do people balance work and life?
